  1. SUBJECT: "Mail Art: Final burial"

The burial and the liturgical acts will take place in the Museum-Art Mausoleum of Morille, Salamanca.

    JUSTIFICATION OF THE CALL:

In recent years, due to the arrival of email and cyber channels, mail art has been sentenced to death on many occasions.

From these sentences, and since it hasn’t just died, we think that Morille's Mausoleum is a good place for his definitive burial, relying on the resurrection of the souls and the subsequent rebirth in another dimension.

    PREVIOUS NOTE:

For the last few months this idea has been shaped on social media and, surprisingly, the event’s organization has found in Morille the unusual presence of an unidentified flying object covered in anagrams, possibly linked to post offices belonging to other galaxies.

Currently, the subject is under study, but the call’s organization team has made a decision, according to the encrypted messages sent through the radio astronomy that this spaceship sends, regarding a possible collaboration in the reception of works and broadcasting of them through ‘not yet known’ channels.

The Town Hall of Morille, has been receptive to this proposal, and gathered in plenary session, has decided to agree to this initiative declaring the spaceship "Futuristic post office of Morille", with all the equipment and appropriate applications to host this call of mail art.

    EXHIBITION:

The pre-burial exhibition will have an atypical format, with ritual acts, celebrations and pilgrimage. ending with the introduction of
the works in the unidentified flying object (photo above) and transfer to the art cemetery Museo Mausoleo of Morille, Red Museion, cross-border platform of Museums.

All received works must have the sender’s full address and email. A digital catalog will be published and an attempt will be made to send printed materials to all the participants, specifying the date and time of the burial, as well as the previous funeral acts and accompanying pilgrimage.

    FINAL NOTE

As a final act prior to the burial, we will proceed through UFO2x24 system connections, thank the inhabitants of the galaxy M18K22 for the provided services through the interstellar post office and the sincere desire that in the future we continue to work in the other dimension. ¡The Mail Art has died! ¡Long live the Mail Art!
